Tookurra Shining Embers.

“Hope”

Hope is the most recent addition to the Royalborda family, coming all the way from South Australia in 2020 from the lovely Tookurra Border Collies. We were so thrilled with the opportunity to have this beautiful girl join our family, with her gorgeous looks and wonderful temperament she immediately settled into the family.

As a puppy Hope demonstrated her love of all living creatures great and small, easily becoming fast friends with other dogs when out and about. She particularly loves meeting humans and wants love and attention always from them. Meanwhile the young humans she adapted a very gentle nature for and self taught herself to sit and allow them to come to her so she wouldn't accidentally knock them over.

In 2020 we had a lot of hopes for her early show career however due to the COVID-19 pandemic she only had a handful of shows in Baby Puppy before shows stopped. Coming back to the Championship Show ring for a special Border Collie Club of QLD show in September she was now in Puppy Class. Despite the lack of shows she did extremely well, coming away with 2nd in the Puppy Bitch Class and going on to win 1st in Best Head Bitch.
