“Tru”

Tru is our keeper from Niyah’s 2021 litter, with her father being Leo (Trucharm Angel in Disguise). She is a very energetic puppy who loves to think of herself a part of the pack early on. If any puppy from the litter was chosen by the rest of the pack it was Tru, they all immediately loved her. Despite wanting to keep a boy there was no passing up this stunning little girl.

Stepping into the show ring and she immediately started showing her potential. She was eye catching in the ring, while being a complete socialite outside of the ring. We were so happy when she gained a Best Baby in Group at the Toowoomba Royal locally. Then we held our breath as she travelled with our friends from Trucharm Border Collies to the Border Collie Club of NSW Specialty Show. We were overwhelmed with joy when against all the beautiful baby border collies down there our little girl won Best Baby Puppy in Specialty Show.

Back in Queensland Tru continued to be shown throughout 2022, and when mid-year the Border Collie Club of QLD Specialty arrived she was again a participant. On the Sunday she really shone with a Minor Puppy in Show for the Open Show and following it up with a Minor Puppy in Specialty Show for the Championship Show. Making her a winner in class at two specialty shows for 2022. For the first half of 2022 Tru also held the number one spot for Rising Star Border Collies in QLD, however due to schedule changes in working we were unable to continue showing as much in the second half of 2022, as such by the end of the year she was placed 3rd, still a wonderful achievement.
